Tributes
In memory of Mr. T.A. Pathrose Tholanikunnel
Memories shared by those who knew him.
← Back to the memorialA man of God, a champion of faith, and a warrior who led many to Christ. A principled man who stood unshaken amidst opposition and the pressures of tradition. A personality held in high esteem and respect by many. A devoted father and a man of God who loved the Lord, His people, and His work and who consistently cherished that love from the very day we met. He will always remain in our memories.
Mr. Joseph
A fire brand for the Lord. He has run his race well. He (Appachen) now has seen what he had hoped for and rests from his labour.
Prof. Alexander GeorgeRetired Professor, Agriculture University, Mannuthy
Pathrose Appachan was a true warrior for the Gospel, a man who was never ashamed of the Gospel. He demonstrated through his life the words of Paul: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel” (Romans 1:16). Whether at his workplace, among students, with young people, or with the elderly, he valued every opportunity to share Christ and the Gospel with those around him. For him, the Gospel was not merely a message to be shared at a particular time or place; it was an integral part of his life.

Very sorry to hear the sad news, may God comfort you with the hope that we can meet him on the other shore. We can never forget your father, as he had a prominent part in the early church as a faithful servant of God.

I believe he was a true warrior of faith who finished his race well. Though I never had the privilege of meeting him, I have been blessed to know God and His work through his daughter, who continues to inspire me. May the Lord comfort you, strengthen you, and sustain you with His grace and peace.

A very, very close family friend of ours. We grew up seeing him and my father going out for Gospel work on cycle. He played an important role in mine and in my sister’s marriage. His home was open for worship meetings for a long time. He truly was a man of God, who left a legacy behind. We will miss him on our next visit to Kerala.
